A Future Built on Service and Education
At Community Choice Foundation, we are committed to supporting students whose dedication to service and leadership has made a meaningful impact in their communities. This year, we are honored to award our scholarship to
Lily Swatosh from Lake Orion, a student who has devoted her high school years to giving back and inspiring future generations.
A leader both on and off the court, Lily has demonstrated perseverance and passion throughout her journey. As a varsity tennis player and an active member of her youth group, Young Life, she has embraced opportunities to mentor others and foster a strong sense of community. Growing up in a household that welcomes foster children, she has experienced firsthand the importance of providing love and stability—an experience that has shaped her vision for the future.
Her passion for teaching stems from the educators who made her childhood feel safe and uplifting. Now, as she prepares to pursue an elementary education degree at Central Michigan University, she has already taken the initiative by volunteering in a kindergarten classroom, determined to provide young students with the same encouragement and support she once received.
At Community Choice Foundation, we believe in honoring students who prioritize service, and Lily has embodied the values of generosity, mentorship, and leadership throughout her life. It is our privilege to support her as she continues her education and works toward shaping a brighter future for the next generation.
