COMMUNITY CHOICE FOUNDATION
Scholarships
Congratulations to our 2025 scholarship recipients! These deserving scholars represent Michigan’s best and brightest in three distinct categories: graduating high school seniors, and those pursuing continuing education and skilled trades programs.
Meet Malik Jarrell-Miller, one of 26 students awarded a Community Choice Foundation scholarship for his leadership and commitment to Giving Big in his community.
Born and raised in Detroit, Malik is a first-generation college student at Wayne State University studying Communications and Psychology, with plans for graduate studies in organizational communication and public relations. As a Site Coordinator for the Black Educator Alliance, he mentors youth and creates programs that inspire future leaders. Driven by a passion for community impact, Malik aims to launch a podcast, revitalize Detroit housing, and use his communication skills to create meaningful, lasting change.
