Recognizing Dedication and Achievement
Each year, we honor students who show academic excellence, perseverance, and a commitment to their future. This year, we proudly award a scholarship to Geira Gomez from Holland, who has demonstrated outstanding determination in pursuing higher education.
Geira maintains a 3.9 GPA while taking challenging AP and IB courses, reflecting her strong work ethic and passion for learning. She has been accepted to Aquinas College, a small private school that aligns with her academic goals and learning style. With a deep interest in psychology, she plans to focus on experimental research, exploring human thought and behavior.
Beyond academics, Geira is dedicated to community service, completing annual volunteer hours through the National Honor Society. She has also benefited from Trio/Upward Bound, a program that has helped prepare her for college, where her mother works as an office manager.
Geira’s commitment to hard work and perseverance is undeniable. We are honored to award her this scholarship, knowing it will help her achieve her goals and contribute meaningfully to the field of psychology.
