Community Choice Credit Union is proud to announce the appointment of Bill Clancy to its executive team as Chief Growth Officer. A dynamic and results-driven leader, Bill brings more than 20 years of executive-level experience in the banking and credit union industries.
Known for delivering exceptional performance in sales, service, and organizational development, Bill has led strategic initiatives that transformed operations, accelerated growth, and enhanced the member experience. Before joining Community Choice, Bill served as Vice President of Consumer Lending at Advia Credit Union, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at Northpointe Bank, Vice President of Retail Strategy at Lake Michigan Credit Union, and managed retail branches for Lake Michigan Credit Union, Charter One Bank, and American General Financial Services.
Bill’s professional achievements have earned multiple industry honors, including the Credit Union Times “Trailblazer 40 Below” Award and a nomination for the CUES Next Top Credit Union Executive.
As Chief Growth Officer at Community Choice, Bill will be responsible for driving sustainable growth by overseeing all aspects of the growth strategy, including retail operations, sales, commercial services, consumer services, and more. He will work to develop and implement strategies that enhance the credit union’s market position, expand its membership base, and increase revenue.
