Explore how we're good, kind and different.
Why do we do it?
We believe in helping our neighbors achieve the life they desire.
We're passionate about helping people, giving back and making a difference. Community Choice originated 81 years ago in the Redford community when a group of neighbors put $5 into a bowl that anyone could borrow from in a time of need.
Today, we continue the tradition, and live out the credit union
philosophy of people helping people.
We're looking for people who are the good kind of different because we're the good kind of different.
We include our hearts in the decision making process, ensuring what we do is right for our members, team members and our communities.
We live by our core values: committed, credible, charitable and united.
Committed: We are committed to serving Michigan, guided by the principles that underlie the credit union movement of service, integrity, and respect for every human being.
Credible: We are our Members' trusted financial advisors; each Team Member plays an integral role in the well being of our Members' financial lives and the success of Community Choice Credit Union.
Charitable: We give big everyday to our membership, our communities, and each other. We are dedicated to supporting Michigan by giving our time and services to the communities that we serve.
United: We are a Team. We unite to achieve and celebrate success, while working to continuously improve the service we provide to our members, our communities, and each other.
We want you to be different, so how are we different?
It's feedback we consistently receive from team members. You arrive on your first day feeling like the newbie and by the time you leave it will feels like you've spent the day with old friends. We place a high value on the relationships we create with our team members.
You won't understand until you see for yourself.
Each week, team members have an opportunity to anonymously answer a question, provide feedback and celebrate their peers through a TINYpulse survey. We value feedback and use the comments to make changes that positively impact our teams and team members.
