MiBiz article reaffirms Community Choice’s commitment to West Michigan

Muskegon-Harvey Member Center

As Community Choice has grown to serve more than 116,000 members around the state, much of our expansion has occurred in West Michigan. We have partnered with former credit unions such as Shoreline Credit Union and First General Credit Union in such cities as Muskegon and Holland to support existing individual and business members with their financial needs.

Dan Munro SpeakingThe business newspaper MiBiz recently published an article that included an interview with our EVP and Chief Operating Officer Dan Munro which outlined this growth and our future plans. With a new member center opening in Muskegon next year, and an openness to partner with other interested credit unions, Community Choice is committed to serving our members in the West Michigan market.

We recognize that many of our West Michigan members have unique needs. Furthermore, we are happy that our role as an employer in cities along the Lake Michigan shoreline and further inland is growing as well.

Finally, we are excited about the numerous community events our member centers in West Michigan are involved in. From giving away pumpkins and turkeys for Halloween and Thanksgiving to giving away college scholarships to deserving high school students through the Community Choice Foundation, our West Michigan member centers strive to be a credit union of “choice” for our neighbors in these cities.

Thank you to all our West Michigan members for placing their trust in us. Thank you as well to our team members who show us why they are the “Good Kind of Different” in upholding the Community Choice brand every day. If you haven’t already, check out the MiBiz article.
