Community Choice Team Members Raise Hundreds of Dollars for Several Community Charities throughout Michigan

Giving Big is part of the culture at Community Choice Credit Union. One example is our Give Big Initiative Givers, a group of team members whose automatic payroll deductions helped to raise nearly $4,300 in 2022 for community charities throughout Michigan.

These team members provided feedback and suggestions on charitable organizations deserving of funds. As a result, the following organizations will receive a donation from Community Choice on behalf of our Grant Givers:

$500 – All About Animals, Warren

$500 – Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Jackson

$500 – Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Muskegon

$500 – Cascades Humane Society, Jackson

$500 – Macomb Foster Closet, Mount Clemens

$500 – Friends of Foster Kids, Sterling Heights

$500 – Muskegon Humane Society, Muskegon

$500 – Kid’s Food Basket, Holland

$291 – Community Choice Foundation Scholarship Fund, Farmington Hills

“We’re really proud of our team for the ongoing and consistent giving that makes such a difference for these organizations,” said Community Choice Foundation Executive Director Kevin McAlpine. “Our colleagues did all of this on their own.”

The secret to living is giving as these team members have proven. In the coming weeks Community Choice will be presenting checks in the above amounts to these deserving charities. It’s just one more example of how our team members at Community Choice are the GOOD kind of different.
