Community Choice Foundation Scholars #GiveBig
The Community Choice Foundation embodies the credit union philosophy of people helping people. In that spirit, our scholarship recipients exemplify an identical charitable nature and pledge to Give Big™ throughout Michigan.
Recently, our 2021 and 2022 scholars gathered for a Scholar Day of Service, where they teamed up to make lunch for 125 kids and volunteers at Dream Centers of Michigan‘s summer camp at Woodside Church in Pontiac.
In assembly line fashion, scholars started by building nearly 300 ham and turkey sandwiches. To complete the healthy lunches, participants decorated bags with bright pictures and positive messages, which were filled with the sandwiches, fruit, chips, juice, and dessert.
