Community Choice Foundation provides scholarships to make education more accessible and affordable for students and create a diverse talent pipeline across Michigan. We are also committed to supporting local causes and nonprofit organizations through volunteerism in our community.

At Community Choice, we believe in the power of giving back to our community. With the endless support of our members and team members, we make a tremendous impact on our community by volunteering thousands of hours each year. Our scholarships go to deserving students who are committed to keeping their skills and future in Michigan.

Graduating high school

It’s the first step toward higher education. We offer $5,000 scholarships to graduating high school senior planning to attend a Michigan college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree. 

Continuing education

We offer $2,500 and $5,000 continuing education scholarship to students furthering in studies.

Skilled trades

Skilled trades play an important role in Michigan’s economy. We offer $2,500 scholarships for students seeking vocational training or certification through accredited programs. 

Essay question

This year, students were asked to describe their feelings toward the concept of “people helping people.”
