History
Rooted in 1935,
Rising in 2025

It all started in 1935, when a handful of neighbors gathered with a vision that would change our community for the better. Rather than entrust their hard-earned savings to traditional banks, they chose to put their faith in one another, paving the way for a new kind of financial institution – one built on trust, cooperation, and a shared commitment to local values. That meeting marked the beginning of the Community Choice Credit Union story, one that is defined by enduring connections, resilience, and the spirit of community.
Over the past nine decades, that small group’s seed of hope has flourished. Today, our credit union proudly serves over 115,000 members, each one united by a belief in people helping people. Through the years, we have grown together, weathering challenges and celebrating milestones while remaining true to our founding promises of personal care and convenient and accessible banking services.
As we celebrate our 90th anniversary, we honor the legacy of those founding members and look forward to a future of continued growth and unwavering dedication to our community.
