Important Updates

All member centers are open to serve you.

Our lobbies remain open to serve you, and in accordance with updated guidance from federal and state officials, we can make some exciting changes to the way we serve you.

Appointments are still encouraged, but not required. Visit us at any of our 20+ member centers in Michigan during these convenient hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.    
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (all locations, except Farmington Hills)

If you are ill or have had close contact with someone who is, we implore you to use remote services for the health of all other members and our team members.

As we enter the third year that COVID-19 has impacted our members, our team members, and the communities we serve, it’s important to reaffirm that we are here for you. Please read these brief updates to our pandemic response.

The work we do is critical to more than 115,000 members and businesses, and we’re committed to being here when you need us most. We’ll keep you posted on any unforeseen closures or changes to our hours. Your team of Personal Advisors is second-to-none, they have continually shown up, enthusiastically, to serve you face-to-face. As COVID cases rise again, we ask for your continued patience. Should team member illness impact our ability to serve you fully, we may make temporary changes to our services or hours at impacted locations. Prior to your visit, please check CommunityChoice.com.

Our team is dedicated to your financial wellness, and your health and safety. We appreciate your support and respect of theirs. If you are ill, or you have been exposed to COVID-19, please use our remote services. Our 24x7 Member Contact Center can help you find a digital alternative to any service you need. The CDC strongly recommends wearing a face covering, regardless of your vaccination status. We continue to supply disposable masks and hand sanitizer in our lobbies for your health and convenience.

Lastly, and most importantly, thank you for your membership. 
One of the silver linings of this pandemic is the light it has shone on the importance of home and community. Whether you’ve donated to the Community Choice Foundation to support a local student, thanked your local team on a Google review, or referred a friend or family member to join the credit union, we thank you. You are our member-owners, our neighbors, the “community” in Community Choice Credit Union. Although our best-in-class technology allows you to conveniently access your accounts from anywhere, it’s our honor that you often still stop in to say hello. Together, we’ve still got this.

Our member centers with drive-thru service now include more services traditionally offered inside-only. The following member centers provide limited lobby services by appointment only and expanded drive-thru offerings:

  • Hillsdale
  • Warren
  • Redford
  • Troy
  • New Hudson
  • Livonia/Westland

We also continue to offer our standard lobby services, while retaining a one-to-one team member to member ratio and appropriate social distancing, in the following member centers:

  • Dearborn Heights
  • St Clair Shores

Additionally, our Muskegon and Eastpointe member centers also provide expanded drive-thru offerings.

The fastest and most convenient way to check balances, deposit checks, and transfers funds is through e-Banking, or visiting an ATM. If you need assistance using e-Banking, we can help. Tutorials are available on our web site, and you can always give us a call, or chat us.

 Mobile Banking is always available. Do everything you can do on your desktop computer, plus deposit checks with your smartphone camera.

 Chat with us Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at CommunityChoice.com

 Visit us at a fee-free ATM or drive thru if you need access to cash. We strongly encourage remote banking, but if you need to visit, our lobbies are open and we are following the Centers for Disease Control’s recommended practices for hygiene and social distance.

Dear Valued Members,

Throughout our 85 years serving members, two things have been true. First, following our nation’s hardest moments, we come out stronger and more resilient. Second, Community Choice Credit Union is always here for our neighbors. Rest assured, your credit union is strong, secure and here for you when you need us.

We continue to provide 24-hour access to your accounts and encourage you to bank electronically. If you are feeling ill and need access to cash, please use our drive-through services or ATMs.

We are taking additional measures in our buildings for the health and safety of all members and team members, including:

  • Minimizing the number of members in our lobbies and creating additional space between our team members and members
  • Allowing healthy team members to wear masks for their own protection and comfort
  • Instructing sick team members to remain home on paid sick leave
  • Continuing to regularly disinfect commonly touched surfaces and allowing team members to take frequent breaks to wash their hands
  • Continually monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and public officials and complying with all recommendations
