The Community Choice Foundation has generously supported countless Michigan non-profits that improve the lives of our region’s most vulnerable families. In 2014 Community Choice team members made donations to numerous area non-profits including the American Red Cross, A New Leash on Life, Beaumont Children's Hospital, the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan, the Michigan Chapter of TEARS and Humble Design.
Community Choice Credit Union continues the tradition of strength in numbers through its annual Give Big Weekend. For one weekend every year, all Community Choice team members and their families Give Big by volunteering together. Community Choice team members have spent thousands of hours volunteering with organizations such as Gleaners’ Food Bank, the American Red Cross, Vista Maria Women’s Shelter, The Detroit Zoo, Forgotten Harvest, The Miracle League of Michigan and several area parks.

By awarding more than $705,000 in college scholarships to students who pledge to stay in Michigan after graduation, the Community Choice Foundation encourages our best and brightest to use their time, talent and education to improve Michigan’s future. Now accepting scholarship applications through February 15, 2016
The Community Choice Credit Union Foundation is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications! High schools students who will be graduating in 2016, and will be attending a two or four year program at a Michigan college or university are encouraged to apply. College scholarships of up to $5,000 each will be awarded to those who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, involvement in extra-curricular activities, and dedication to community service.
Eligible applicants must plan on attending a Michigan college or university, and must pledge to stay in Michigan after college. Applicants will be evaluated based on grade point average, dedication to serving their community and a written essay. Winners of the scholarships will be notified as soon as the final results are determined.
