Community Choice Credit Union announces the retirement of Mary Miko from its Board of Directors. Mary’s 30-year tenure of leadership has helped the credit union grow. She joined the Research Federal Credit Union Board of Directors in 1995 and was instrumental in guiding the historic 2007 merger of equals between Research Federal and Community Choice Credit Unions. Her leadership helped ensure a smooth transition that honored the values of both institutions and strengthened the foundation for future growth.
During her service, Mary served as Chair of the Employee Retention Committee and was a member of the Governance & Education Committee.
“Mary served the membership of Community Choice Credit Union as a dedicated volunteer Director for 18 great years. Her knowledge, mentorship and interpersonal skills will be very much missed by the Board of Directors,” said Brian Wilson, Chairperson of the Board.
“Serving on the Board of Directors has been a great and meaningful chapter of my life. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside passionate leaders and witnessing the credit union grow while staying true to its values. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and as I step away, I do so with deep gratitude and full confidence in the future of this organization and the people who will carry it forward,” said Mary Miko.
