Welcome to our 2021-22 Circle of Scholars
On May 5, we proudly welcomed the Class of 2021-22 to our Circle of Scholars during our Foundation Scholarship Ceremony at the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth. Community Choice leaders, scholars, family members, and several Foundation donors were on hand to congratulate and welcome the 25 students and professionals.
Special guests at the ceremony included radio personality Doug Tribou, who hosts Morning Edition on Michigan Radio and served as the presenter for the festivities, and Erin Drabicki, a 2014 scholarship recipient. Drabicki went on to graduate from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and turned her passion for helping others into her chosen profession.
In total, $100,000 was awarded – 15 scholarships of $5,000 for high school seniors, six $2,500 scholarships for continuing education, and four $2,500 scholarships to pursue training for a skilled trade.
